Abstract

We surveyed three canals in the city of Amsterdam (Netherlands) for it methane emissions and potential to filter methane through anaerobic oxidation of methane in the canal sediment. To unravel the mechanisms involved we characterised the sediment geochemically. All data present in the manuscript is available in the Excel file.
