Abstract

In past decades, futurists have made a plethora of predictions for what this millennium would have in store for us. These predictions share two commonalities. First, they revolve around technological advancement and its potential to make daily life and work more convenient. Second, the changes stop there. Besides the ease and convenience technology would bring, daily routines and the broader social world would remain virtually unchanged.
