Prosodische Struktur und Worterkennung bei gesprochener Sprache

Abstract

Research on the exploitation of prosodic information in the recognition of spoken words is reviewed. The review shows that most research attention has been paid to the question of whether the prosodic structure of a word plays a role in initial contact with stored lexical representations, and that only a small and unrepresentative number of languages have been considered.
