Chilblains in general practice

Abstract

For centuries, doctors have recognised patients with complaints of a cold-induced condition known as perniones or chilblains but the backgrounds of the condition are largely unknown. In thesis we studied how patients are affected by chronic chilblains, what they do and expect from their doctors, familial aggregation of the disease and the treatment of the condition.
