Subject
Behaviour Change and Well-beingAbstract
Conflict is omnipresent in social relationships and, given its often negative consequences, it is an important research topic. In organizations, conflict may hinder productivity and job satisfaction. In close relationships, conflict can be a threat to satisfaction, or even to the endurance of the relationship. It is therefore theoretically and practically important to study conflict by gathering data on its appearance, causes, and consequences and on the emotional, cognitive, motivational, and behavioral aspects that accompany it.
