The Arabic translations of the New Testament are an important phenomenon following the spread of the Islam and the arrival and institutionalization of the Arabic language. This is attested by a great number of manuscripts. Despite this, very little research was conducted in this field since the beginning of the 20th century. However, a renewed interest can be observed today for these manuscripts, related to contemporary identity issues and the emergence of the digital culture. In this thesis, I analyse the reasons of this lack of interest and contribute to the current scholarly rediscovery by studying the largely unexplored corpus of the Arabic manuscripts of the Letters of Paul. I propose a catalogue of the Arabic manuscripts of the Letters of Paul. After that, I focus on a specific manuscript from the 9th century, the Vaticanus Arabicus 13, with the edition of the First Letter to the Corinthians and the study of its linguistic and philological aspects. I also show its theological interest by underlining interesting exegetical points
