| Abstract: | We present the case of a patient with a persisting type II endoleak after endovascular repair of an iliac aneurysm with an iliaco-caval fistula. We describe the pathophysiological mechanism behind this phenomenon and discuss why conservative treatment is unlikely to seal this type of endoleak. A more aggressive treatment strategy is therefore advocated. |
