| Abstract: | Recent position papers addressing the profession of clinical pharmacology have expressed concerns about the decline of interest in the field among clinicians and medical educators in the United Kingdom and other Western countries, whether clinical pharmacology is actually therapeutics, and whether the profession should be limited to physicians. The Dutch Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Biopharmacy offers answers to these questions and presents a new model for clinical pharmacology. |
